I don't think many people chose the same ending that I did.

I let Kenny kill Jane and then shot Kenny. They were both unstable and I didn't want any chance of having to continue my journey with them.

Played 2 episodes now. It's interesting how most of the time, my decisions go against the majority of what players seemed to have done. I find that most people play like they want to do the "moral" thing, instead of the "right" thing.

Maybe it's because I've watched the TV show, but it seems like being moral can get killed in this type of world. Sometimes doing what's right for you or your group, wouldn't be the morally just thing.

So far I am enjoying it though!

I don't always play moral. There is a tang of a spiteful Clem in my games (like offhandedly referring to Rebecca's cheating ways). But I try to make sense,
I was ready to pop Kenny in back of head in the car the way he was acting, glad for Clem's sake in the story they had to wait till he was killing Jane. But I wanted to take off with Jane for a while now. She certainly isn't 100% sane no one is. But she is mostly right. I don't think you can go super solo like she does. But I think best approach in this type of setting is like Gypsy Nomadic. Don't try to make a permanent home, but pick your spots build up a community use the resources around it, and pickup and move when the time is right. This non-stop trek to one location or another is mainly whats killing these guys. It never makes sense. Like the stupid crossing of the lake. Take the 4 hours and walk around another way.

Wow that's at least 3 hugely separate stories/endings there.
I look at her egging Kenny on and while I wanted them to shut up. Wasn't really happy with Jane hiding the baby to trick Kenny. But I knew she was right. Kenny unless he could be alone in the middle of nowhere with the baby, he was going to explode. That the person "responsible" for anything to happen to the baby was going to get their ass kicked or worse and even Clem wasn't safe from it. That baby was Duck, his wife, his GF and even innocent Clem rolled into one.

So back at Carvers with Jane and the new Family.

Damn Topweasel, are you my twin? I was pretty much thinking the exact same things as you and I got the same results you did.

I would assume that
Kenny & Jane will both be gone early in the story of Season 3, for all players. Too much work to maintain separate stories with them around, unless they take the role of very minor characters.

Yep, Either place you ended up at will end up falling, and the character you stayed with will be dead. Then you'll probably end up reuniting with Christa.

I really liked Kenny

I've played Season 1 and enjoyed it, and would be happy enough with the way things ended, even though I know Season 2 is available.

How does the ending of Season 2 compare - i.e. cliffhanger or some sort of resolution?

Also appreciate the blacked out spoilers

Less cliffhangerness then the first one, but it's a funky ending that could rub some people the wrong way.

I didn't think my ending was funky, I thought it was a good conclusion to the story....I apparently was in the minority though as far as the ending I got.

Necro'ing a Walking Dead thread....

If anyone was waiting for a sale on Season 2, Humble Store has it for $6.24 for all 5 episodes.

https://www.humblebundle.com/store/p/thewalkingdead_season2_storefront

It was a great season and highly recommended, especially at that price.

I bought Season 1, 2, and the 400 days pack for $14.91 on steam back in January. A good price for the season 2 though. The game made me stutter on what choices to make! Normally Im an FPS junkie, but I love telltale games!

TWD and TWAU are two of my most favorite games ever. I love games with great storylines and characters and these two games have exactly that. Plus i love games where i have to make decisions that actually matter and no one does these better than these two games although Mass Effect series comes close. That's why i love TellTale because they make the best games which i love. I even enjoyed their Jurassic Park game and will play Game of Thrones after all episodes have been released. Many won't enjoy this style of gameplay but those who do must definitely play these games.

Yeah I just started Season 1.

Some of the writing I've experienced so far is pretty crap, particularly the batteries and radio scenario with the lady in the convenient store.

"Really lady? Ya know what a battery is?"

Hoping the writing gets better.
