I've read it in book form and I've read the second one in the series as well. I definitely recommend it for readers into fantasy novels along the lines of the Wheel of Time.

It took a bit to start drawing me in, but I found myself reading faster and for longer periods as I went. Very well written and I was looking forward to book two by the end.

Definitely give it a go if you enjoy epic fantasy.

The neat thing is that you really don't -need- a kindle. I read kindle books via my Android phone/tablet and Windows 8 PC/tablet devices via the kindle apps/web reader.

I feel like this is the case for all of his books. By the time I'm nearing the end, I'm staying up through the night to finish the books.

In for one. I really don't mind reading book on my tablet or phones. However the kindle is awesome when reading outdoors, and I don't have to worry about draining my phone battery.
I got in on the Kindle paper white deal for $65 a while back generally prefer it over a tablet, although I like the larger screen a tablet can give you/

I enjoyed his Mistborn Trilogy, but I just cannot get into this book. I'm about 1/5 of the way in and it's frankly, rather boring to me.
