Have you reset the bulbs? I had this issue, and didn't know how to reset the bulbs, but this is the official documentation.
Note: If the light bulb does not flash, you may need to reset it. Turn off the light
and wait 3 seconds. Turn on the light and wait 3 seconds. Repeat turning the
light off and on (approximately 5 times) until the bulb flashes once. As soon as it
flashes once, it is reset. If the bulb does not flash or the Wink app does not display
“success,” contact Wink Support at 1 (844) WINKAPP or support@winkapp.com.

Yeah, I'd love timers and the ability to do some really advanced logic and workflows with the robots.

I went ahead and ordered that motion sensor to play with. From the reviews, it seems that once it detects motion, it starts a timer on the device to reset itself after 4 minutes. I'm assuming this might trigger a status change in Wink and that might work for my uses. I am going to put it in the upper corner of my office, facing my desk, and probably use it to trigger lights after 5:30 or 6:00 and then have another scheduled activity that if lights are still on at 11 or so, they will turn off.

I am thinking I may still order another set of Trippers and attempt to paint and weatherproof one for use on an outside gate.
Please report back if the internal timer works like you suspect. That would be great!
Thanks!

Can i seriously not schedule based on TIME for lights to turn on?

what a effing joke.

Yeah, as others have said, you can schedule lights based on time. What you CAN'T do, however, is set a timer apparently. I really hope they add that feature because there are cases where I might want to turn lights on for a few minutes (such as garage lights when arriving home) and then have them automatically shut off.

I've been a little happier with Wink since it has been pretty solid for me lately and the Tripper battery issue seems to have been resolved, but I still am leaning towards getting a SmartThings v2.0 when they come out.

I agree- it has been slow, but it's getting there... And I too am wondering if it's time to switch to the competition... And the timing thing is CRITICAL!

But, it's all about "relative" time & timers as (of course) the hub can absolutely do the "absolute" scheduling thing.

Wink needs to impliment relative scheduling As Soon As They Can. The concept of "10 minutes from NOW" or "10 minutes from sunset" or "10 minutes from {generic event}". Without this, I will have to move onto a more developed system.

I have had the Wink hub for about 6 months now and have slowly been increasing its responsibility in the house based upon everyone's comments on where the "thin ice" is! And the absence of relative timing/scheduling is not even thin ice, it's open water!

Hurry up guys!

This is getting to be a rollercoaster ride and I think I want off. The phone call I got from a tech guy that knew what he was talking about made me want to stick it out with wink, but now I can't get a reply from him with the email he gave me. The rely I did get from Wink today about my question was the same ole "try resetting the light". I'm trying to help them out and point out software bugs but they don't seem to understand that.

FYI if you have a Relay and want to use one of the physical buttons to control lights that are paired to a Hub, as far as I can tell it doesn't work. The light might turn on, but when it does it goes to a dim state and after than can't be controlled by the button at all, only thru the app.

That's not my experience with Relay. Though, I'm using those with Lutron switches. Are you using the switch to control a Leviton based product?

You guys hit all the flaws, those Eco link motion sensors work great but I really want to keep the light on for five or ten minutes after motion is sensed then turn off. Robots dont currently allow that type of control. Wink has some serious work to do for the robot logic options.

Also just got this paired up with the wink, runs great. to run a pump and a valve for a indoor irrigation setup i'm working on for Bonsai.

Also since the Wink Robots kinda suck... I've augmented with tasker (awesome link below for android users) for the time being... hopefully Wink gets a solid update to the robots soon.

The Neck, that's neat.. I wonder if there's a single relay version? I'd use that for ceiling fans.

Any idea if that will switch DC loads or just AC 120v?

How often are you all having to hard rest your GE Link lights? It seems like every 4 or 5 days I am having to hard reset all 6 of my bulbs.

After 4 to 5 days of everything working perfectly the lights just stop responding. Rebooting the hub and rebooting my phone do nothing to help. I have to delete them in the app and readd them one at a time, which of course means reconfiguring robots and schedules too.

I got my hub and bulbs in October or November and I had to re-add a bulb once but that was it.

When I first got my Wink and 2 GE bulbs I could not get them to work on my pole lamps. I tried resetting the bulbs the hub everything they would not work. I changed the bulbs to a lamp and they worked in a few seconds. I put the bulb back in the pole light and it would not work. Switched it to the table lamp and it worked. The best that I can figure out is the GE bulb will not work with the wink in a tri-light light socket.
I installed a Nest also and it works great, everything has been working since Dec 23 with no reboots or problems.

I learned that the bulbs have a "feature"... If it sense it has been out of contact for 2 hours, it auto orphans itself or something. Dunno why, but I know that the Wink guys are working with GE to figure out how to deal with it.

The lights I can't get the physical relay button to control properly are paired with the hub, ge link with a one way switch. all it will do is turn the light in (dim for some reason) then nothing else unless I used the screen or the app.

Ah, I wonder if that's what happened to me. I had the hub off for a while, but the bulbs else where in the house were still powered on (but turned off). After the hub was turned back on, those lights were no longer being controlled by the hub. But I had one light that was powered off at the same time the hub was off (they're on the same power strip) and it was not effected.

This fix wasn't too bad. Reset the lights that got orphaned, and then tell the hub to add lights. The hub automatically adds all the lights (so you can do them all in one go), and they get added in the same sequence/assignment as before, so all your robots and buttons work.
