No Dave they are using US Network. Too many Winkers and they should propably update their servers farm and get a bigger pipe for their Internet of the Things....
Lots of people are buying the HUB
When Google Play has between 50k and 100k download for Wink App and not counting IOS then a lot of Hub need to get served by the Cloud servers.
Here at my local Home Depot Hub Stock is rolling regularly, I take note of the Serial and MFG date and it is changing every visit.
One of my friend on North Shore of Montreal saw a full skid of WInk Hub at his H.D.
So we can expect some lags until they fix their cloud computer farm and get decent 100M pipe or more.
I deal every day with bandwith on my VOIP and SIP call centers.
Realistically they should provide a means to use the device without the cloud on a local network, and only use the cloud for updates to device status when not connected to local wifi on a phone or tablet.
It is in everyone's best interest to have config information stored locally on the hub. Less lag for users, everything works without internet when you are on your local network, and less servers and bandwidth needed by Wink to make it all work.
Just my 2 cents.
