I don't use the wink to control my Honeywell anymore as I prefer to use its own app, but if I remember correctly when I first installed it, the Wink scheduling was hit or miss. That was a while ago. I'll reconnect it to the hub this weekend and test it out to see if I can get it working and let you know my results.Does anyone use the Honeywell zwave thermostat with their Wink setup?
I have one and I can manually control the temperature from the Wink app (up/down/cool/heat/auto) but whenever I try to setup the temperature using schedules or robots it won't work.
Anyone had better experience with the z-wave Honeywell thermostat?
Wink support are not really helping. Escalated but no real response.
Latest version of the iOS app and hub at 00.56.
Thanks!

Yep...welcome to my world. Been fighting this battle for weeks with wink over my leviton switches...robots are gone. What they need to do is put a blanket statement to say these products ONLY support automation...meaning Lutron...not sure if anything else does.FWIW a few weeks ago I found a cheap price on a Honeywell thanks to this site.
At first there was some limited functionally with wink robots.
Also I could control the thermostat via Bill's web project.
But after reading the messages this morning about wanting to test thermostats, I got this message while trying to setup a new robot:
"Don't see your product? Honeywell, GE and Leviton currently don't support Wink's automation features.
So for what ever reason, one of the upgrades has removed some of the functionality.
Now my only options are geofencing or the trippers.
Can anyone tell me why I would by a wink relay at $300 instead of just getting an inexpensive table and mounting it in a convenient location?
I have another Tripper showing low battery after about 4-6 weeks running on a new battery. Grrrr.
I agree with you! Maybe a little more effort into fixing/stabilizing their platform for existing products before rolling out new/expensive items would go a long way to keep their existing user base happy.Although temping to get an unopened relay on ebay for $150...I personally am not putting another dime in Wink specific products until they add local control and fix the lack of robots for anything besides a Lutron switch.

Is there anyone that has thoughts on the best way I can become familiar with Tasker specific to it utilization with Wink?
Trunzoc....can you paste the link here....I think I already have it and have loaded the project into tasker....just not clear what to do with it now...

Get the latest version of the wink project- it works very well right out of the box. It is actually more reliable than the wink app as it has yet to lock up, pause or crash like the wink app does.
As far as tasker goes, it will not import a project until you disable beginner mode..that was the most frustrating thing for me.
I cant even get the project to import AFTER disabling beginner mode...talk about frustrating!

Searching for answers about what will and will not work with link takes me back to the (not really) Good Old Days of CP/M when a program on a Zonko Model IIIa would never run on a Zonko Model IIIb even if you could transfer between the two totally different floppy formats or figure out what "standard" RS-232 was used.
We need an IBM with DOS 1.0 and I was hoping that the Wink might be that device.
Got mine with the 50% off code wink had. For $150 I think its worth it.
$150 unopened on ebaywhere did you get the 50% off code?
battery life was supposedly fixed with a new firmware...have you reported to Wink supported? you should
