Hi,
I have the Hub and 3 GE Link bulbs. I'm looking for a remote to turn on/off the bulbs outside of their scheduled time. Wife wants an easy to use remote on her bedside table, not a smartphone app. If Wink developers are reading, not really interested in investing more money to get additional features until I get this working for her.
I got this
Z-wave remote hoping I could connect it to the Hub as a generic Z-wave device, and use a Robot to sense button presses and perform an action (turn bulb on/off). The remote will connect and show up as a device under the Hub page, but the Hub doesn't seem to know what to do with it, and the Robot can't detect it.
Has anyone figured out how to get a remote control working for the GE Link bulbs?
The Spotter 2 with 3 button shields looks like it will have the ability to do this. But it is still a month away from release, the first gen has a sketchy history, and $60 for a 3 button remote seems wayyy excessive.
As others have said, I REALLY wish the Pico remotes could control any connected device.
Thanks.
