That first picture looks abysmal. But if you look at the trees, really everything, you can notice it looks really smeared and ugly. They probably had nvidia's TXAA turned on which always ruins image quality like that.
The second picture looks incredible, but very likely a downsampled marketing shot that has darker lighting as well.
The first two images are just shit. They should be native res, to make any comparison at all, but are clearly scaled up, with blurring, so it's hard to tell about the textures. The first suffers from a ton of some kind of soft focus like shader, as well.So what exactly is TXAA? The pictures from 2015 look all flat and pasty like a cartoon while the pictures from 2013 have more details in the textures.

A 270x is the minimum spec card listed, so I'm not so sure. Might give you a PS4 quality experience, but AMD's DX11 drivers are so iffy that I wouldn't bet on it.
That being said, Norse, this is a Gameworks title, so expect AMD performance to be crap on arrival, broken CF, performance in comparison to Nvidia will be way off, basically everything that comes with Gameworks, until AMD and CDPR fix it.
Also, your card is minimum like Carfax said, so I don't see you witchering enjoyably either way, unless low res and minimum settings are acceptable to you.
Your card will have the slightest advantage over the minimum 7870, but not by much since they're nearly identical.Crap. Thought the minimum requirement was a 1 GB 7850 but guess I was somewhat off. Minimum requirements say 7870 which if that is assuming 2 GB than basically the same as my card.
While the overall effects look nicer the textures look like they got downgraded to me.

The game is programmed for DX11, an API purposely designed to be abstract enough so that developers don't have to worry about the differences in architecture.
All this talk about graphics and I'm just hoping for good controls, story and a fun world to explore. I could deal with Skyrim quality graphics at this point since there really hasn't been much in the last few years. Yes, DA:I was a good attempt, but still left something to be desired.

I played TW2 w/ Core 2 Duo and GTX 460. It didn't look as good as show-off screenshots, but still looked mighty good, and played smoothly. Same with TW1, but I started with a 7800GT, underclocked (it was a spare, OK?).
