My two nominees:

1. Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies -- "Starring" Cash Flagg. Badly filmed bad movie with no story to speak of. You have to see this just to know someone would actually spend money to release that title, let alone hire someone named Cash Flagg.

Summary: But not as mixed up as the director and the audience...

Another Ray Dennis Steckler ego piece: he stars, he directs, he produces, he humiliates himself. A perfect four-for-four. The only redeeming bit of this movie are the dance numbers. If this movie is to be believed, strippers typically have dance numbers that rival the half-time shows at the Super Bowl, and yet never manage to take off any clothes! The (we hope) unintentional hilarity of these numbers makes for entertaining viewing, in the sense that you'll be ROFL the whole time.

CAST/CREDITS

Director:Ray Dennis Steckler ,
Star:Cash Flagg, Carolyn Brandt, Atlas King ,

SYNOPSIS

At a Long Beach carnival a gypsy fortune teller hypnotizes her customers, throws acid in their faces, and turns them into caged zombies. Starring director Steckler as Cash Flagg, this Golden Turkey award winner was billed as the first monster musical ever made. Well-photographed in "Terrorama," this is a must for "bad movie" buffs.

2. Run Home Slow with original music by Frank Zappa!

Info source #1 -- with pics.

Frank Zappa comments on Run Home, Slow

"One of the features that I scored I did when I was twenty years old--I was the youngest writer to do that kind of work--it was called Run Home Slow. It was a Western. You can see it on television every once in a while. It's a piece of s#%t. It has some funny moments in it. In fact, one thing you should look for is a scene where a nymphomaniac is getting reamed by a hunchback next to the carcass of a dead donkey in a shed. But they probably cut that part out for TV."

This must be the worst movie of all time. Zappa described it perfectly as a a "super cheap cowboy movie". I'm not kidding, it's a real stinkaroo. This synopsis from YCDTOSA vol 5 is prefect: "A bad ranch lady, a nymphomaniac cowgirl, and a hunchbacked handyman named Kirby who eventually ends up pooching the nympho in the barn, next to the rotting carcass of the family donkey." That's exactly what happens. But the music is good, and there is quite a bit more of it in this film than in The World's Greatest Sinner. There are strong themes that would later evolve into the Duke of Prunes and Idiot Bastard Son. And of course the Run Home Slow theme which we'd hear on YCDTOSA vol 5, The Lost Episodes, and Mystery Disc.

The Fifth Element was pretty bad

Avengers again, it just had no point

I didn't like Swordfish as much as everyone else did, it wasn't "bad" per se, but it wasn't good, and it was the "Halle Berry gets paid a lot to appear topless" movie

After seeing the posts here... I wonder about the IQ of some people. Blade Runner is a bad movie? Contact? wow, when you have things like There's Something About Mary, Swordfish and Harry Potter to choose from... really, people, did you grow up thinking Pokemon is a work of art and a Rembrandt is some foreign car? I shiver thinking about the things you'd say about the worst books ever, but on a second thought, I'm sure you don't read much anyway (except Maxim and Maximum PC)...

And just for fun, there's Radio Ranch, starring the "Singing Cowboy," Gene Autry. It's the feature length consolidation of the movie serial, The Phantom Empire (12 chapters - 1935).

Great still shot from Radio Ranch

Summary:
Source: Science Fiction Serials

A gang of crooks led by the nefarious Prof. Beetson seeks a valuble radium deposit located beneath Radio Ranch, managed by popular country western radio star gene Autry. Autry must broadcast his radio program once a day to fulfill a clause in his lease and maintain conrol of Radio Ranch. Realizing that Autrys popularity draws a crowd to the ranch, Beetson attempts to eliminate Autry by murdering the singer's business partner (the father of autry's two young friends Frankie and Betsy Baxter) and framing autry for the killing.

Autry escapes custody in an effort to prove his innocence. Grankie and Betsy, loyal to Gene and knowing that he did not kill their father, aid him in his quest, along with a group of their friends who have formed a childrens club called the Thunder Riders, patterned after a mysterious group of masked horsmen (called the Thunder Riders) periodically seen in the area. Eventually, both Autry and Beetson discover that the real Thnder Riders come from an advanced, forgotten civilization called Murania, located 25,000 feet below Radio Ranch.

Autry is eventually imprisoned in the subterranean city, ruled by the haughty Tika. Young Frankie and Betsy, along with Autry's dim witted buddies Pete and Oscar, are also captured when they follow Gene into Murania. Although Gene manages to escape Queen Tika's clutches repeatedly so that he can return home and deliver his mandatory radio broadcasts, he and his friends are constantly threatened by Queen Tika and the Muranians until Argo, a treacherous underling of the monarchs stages an armed revolt and overthrows her.

Gene and his friends escape from Murania just as a powerful death ray goes out of control, disintegrating the entire city and all its inhabitants. Safely returning to the surface, Gene, Frankie, Betsy and the sheriff contrive to eavesdrop on Beetson as he discusses Murdering Frankie and Betsy's Dad. With this evidence, Gene is finally able to prove his innocence and clear his name, with beetson punished for his misdeeds.

I Fifth Element, it's one of my favorite DVD's.

As far as my pick for a bad movie the first thing that comes to mind is "The Secret Garden," although I'm sure many would acclaim it "excellent" Whatever. worthless.

Battlefield: Earth

I bought the book before seeing the movie, and I threw it across the lightrail car after the third page. I won't ever see the movie.

Blair Witch Project..

Anyone who claims to like it:
a) has no concept of quality and would liek watching potato peeling if someone put it on the big screen.
b) is a media whore/sheep who likes things because its "cool" to.
c) both 'a' and 'b'

People who knock people who like it have no concept of how a movie is made and can't appreciate this film for it's innovation.

Nukie is THE worst movie I have ever seen. The bad part about it is that I watched it on a bet with a friend. He said that he would show me a movie that even I couldn't find something good to say about (I always try to find something good in any movie). So I sat down and watched Nukie.... OMFG!!! Why! Who would ever think up such trash? For those who don't know what I'm talking about check out the links Nukie (beware of popups), Nukie again

Manos: Hand of Fate gets a close second though. We can at least make fun of Manos though which saves it from last place.

BTW, I'm the type of person who can watch bad Japanese horror films like Uzumaki without blinking. KFCCinema is a place I try to check out at least once a month. But that was just too much.

Pretty much anything with Tim Allen in it makes a pretty sure-shot loser. Good on TV does NOT = good in movies.

Nicely put Pulse...I guess if your opinion is different than someone elses on a certain topic, you have a low IQ and don't read anything but Maxim. I knew someone a few years back who would say things like that and to this day he still has no friends. You may think you have a high IQ Anita but you certainly have no tact.
