Anyone else here ever see Space Truckers? I have seen many movies in my life, but that is the only one that really stands out in my mind as TRULY horrible.

I co-wrote the title song to a terrible movie called, Can I Do It Till I Need Glasses?. Sang lead, played keyboard and synth and mixed it, too.

It's the only song where I ever did all those things and got it on the radio in L.A. (and other places). Of course, it was on Dr. Demento's show.

It was also Robin Williams' first movie. He is quoted as saying it is the movie he would most like to forget.

Cable Guy has got to be the DUMBEST movie I have EVER seen. Dumb and Dumber was really funny the first time I saw it but it got old after a while. I don't think it was bad enough to make it on this list...

The worst movie ever was blair witch. Maybe the second one was worse, but I would not watch that.

Oh man...some good (bad) ones listed already! I'd have to agree with Gymkata for sure. And Waterworld (and anything else with Kevin Costner).
But Escape from New York?? "Call me Snake" heh heh...
I guess Blade Runner was too deep for some of you....

I must add:

Sheena ("Oh Sheena, how much I love you, so much it busts my heart" - Ted Wass) lol!!!!!!
there's some other egyptian-curse-kinda movie too, from the early 80's, I think....can't think of the name....'the' something....really bad.

Steel Magnolias - got dragged to it by the woman I was going out with at the time. Needless to say I ended the relationship shortly thereafter.

Starship Troopers - the movie that led to me NEVER AGAIN trusting my wife's choice in movies. Unfortunately, she got me again with a PPV movie a few nights ago, but it was so bad my memory has wiped it to protect itself from the pain.

Dumb and Dumber - the first time I ever got up and walked out of a movie theatre before the end. It certainly lived up to its name.

There are of course others, but like the instance above I'm sure they've been wiped by my brain as a self-protection measure.

what's wrong with you. Red Dawn is a great classic war movie. It totally shows the ridiculous cold war fears everyone had too. But it really is a good movie. And some of the others named. Dumb and Dumber, Little Nicky, these movies are hilarious. Do you people not know how to laugh.
As for everyone saying Blair Witch Project. Ok think this way for one second. The movie had an ultra low budget. It was filmed pretty much by amateurs. And if you saw it early enough before all the hype, saw it in the theaters, and saw it at night, it was genuinely scary. But I bet all of you could make better movies, huh.

That said. Anything made by Ed Wood. He was famous for making crappy movies. And Freddy Got Fingered, it was just too twisted for my tastes.

I also can't believe no one mentioned the Mortal Kombat sequel Annihalation (first one was decent if you liked the video game).

Last thing. One of those top 100 worst lists mentioned some really good movies (ie. Natural Born Killers, does this person have no taste for cult classics, maybe next time he'll put The Evil Dead on there, jeez)

Too many of you people like to hate things because it's popular to hate them. You're worse than the people who are pop culture fans, because all you can do is bitch.

I liked many of the movies mentioned in this thread: Fifth Element, Blade Runner, Waterworld, The Postman, Freddy Got Fingered, Romy and Michelle, Unbreakable (the ending did suck), Good Burger, etc..

Movies that I thought sucked beyond belief are:

Jawbreaker
Spice World
Jurassic Park 3
Highlander: Endgame (I am a hardcore fan of the other movies and TV series)

It's funny seeing several of what I consider fun and enjoyable films being listed by people as the worst ever. For the most part I can only imagine short memory spans or some confusion over the difference between a bad movie and a movie with a story someone just didn't like. There are just sooo many horrible movies out there. Let's just say anything Stallone has acted in in the last fifteen or so years and leave it at that.

Wow, I am truly surprised that I am the first to post this one. Has anyone seen Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes? Or how about Return Of The Killer Tomatoes?

I do not know which one it was, but in one of these two films, halfway across the movie the camera suddenly turns away from the scene and shows the crew hanging out with scantily clad women, and then somebody mentions that they will be unable to finish the movie because they foolishly frittered away their budget money. So then somebody comes up with the idea that they will use product placement to make up for their losses. And they do...

<EDIT>These movies are so bad it is actually fun to watch them because of that.</EDIT>
