Had this done couple years ago. The one time any sharp object was allowed to come within 6in of the personal DMZ. That was BS about a little pinch they say I would experience and the little infection about a week later from the cut was not fun. But I'd have to say that it's liberating to shoot blanks indiscriminately anytime anywhere after that. I was told to shave. I did. Then when I got there, they proceeded to shave me more.

The valium they gave me - well, I personally don't think it did squat but my wife says I was mellow. I wasn't sportin' wood when the nurse went to town.

The most "interesting" part for me was when they injected the local anesthetic, let it kick in then started working. My nether region felt like it was made out of plastic as they were moving and cutting things. It was a weird sensation.

No real pain during the procedure. But my left nut was playing keep away and he had to dig around a lot. That squeezing and rooting got me a bit queasy...but I kept breakfast down.

yeah i felt great after it. didn't need the vicodin i had. But a word of warning. DO NOT jump. just don't do it..

The next day after i had it done i felt amazing. i was taking my daughter to a doctor visit and we were walking on some parking blocks. i jumped off it (only maybe a ft high) and GOD DAMN it hurt. i nearly fell to my knees.

Speaking of deals... Back when we lived in Florida, every time we drive up to Deltona on I-4, there was this billboard between Sanford and Deltona for a doctor specializing in vasectomies for like $70. Cracked me up every time I saw it.
