Thermaltake Cases

How good are the Thermaltake Soprano series cases for airflow and keeping everything cool? I was going to use an Antec PSU with it....think that will be ok?

What are your opinions? I like the fans on the Sopranos and the way the case looks. Just was curious on airflow and cooling on the case.

They'll keep your case cool alright, but at the expense of your ears falling off.

Yea I was thinking about shelling out the cash for one. The only thing is the front door to it. Since there is a fan on the inside front of the case, how does it get utilized if the door is closed. Kind of a stupid question but before I make this purchase I want to know these things.

Oh and btw ...I'm getting the ZALMAN CNPS7000B-Cu LED 2 Ball Blue LED Light Cooling Fan. Someone said something about using this HSF with the Asus A8N SLI mobo and that there is almost not enough room. They had to cut out some of the back panel or something. Have you heard of this?

At the bottom of the door, there is a vent that bings air to the fan.

Get that case.

Very nice case, I like Tsunami better because the front door is metal, in the soprano it's plastic, but otherwise a very good case.

You'd better buy the Tsunami instead of the "plastic" look of Soprano.

I have the soprano and it is a great looking case, The air flow is pretty good my case temp is 31c. I have a A8N-SLI Deluxe W/ a zalman Passive NB cooler which made the case temp go up to 36c,I cut another 92mm side intake and it came back down to 31c. If you get it change the fans as they dont work very well,at least not for me.

The fans that come with the Thermaltake cases don't work well? I heard otherwise. I'm thinking of just going with the Tsunami though. It's not that much more expensive and I hear its a little better.

I think that the Soprano has 2x120mm fans and 1 90mm.Don't they generate much noise?

In general larger fans can move the same amount of air as a smaller one can while generating less noise.
