Someone please help me, am i the uber noob or is this case hard to set up? Somehow, I can only get 2 fans working... and those are the ones on the side window... the ones in the front and back, and the one on top doenst run.... i have set all fans to maximum power, and still nothing...I don't know what's wrong... Here is what I did:

1. Plug 2 fans together, and just plug one of the fan controllers to one of the fans. Now this should work, because I know I am not giving any direct power to the fans, but shouldn't they work since I give power to fan controllers in the front top?

Thanks.

I haven't looked at cases in a while, but is that one with all the crap on it that it looks like it could be a Transformer?

Ok first of all, have you tried connecting the molex from the psu straight to the fan just to check if its working or not?

Secondly, Fan2 and fan3 controller is for handling 4 or more fans. While fan 1 and fan 4 controller handles 3 or less fans. So if you want to connect 4 of the intake fans in series you must either connect it to fan2 or fan 3. Fan 1 can be used to control the rear exhaust fan, fan4 can be used to control the top exhaust fan.

I have the Xaser III V2000A and set up the fans/controller like this:

Fan 1: The 2 front fans
Fan 2: The 2 side fans
Fan 3: The 2 back fans
Fan 4: The top fan

Daisy chain 2 fans together and then plug the chain into the appropriately labeled (i.e, "Fan 1") connector from the Hardcano.

Hey guys, I thought it worked for a second or so but it doesn't. I plug in all the fans exactly the way you suggest but still nothing I want to confirm this though, aren't there 3 power strips coming out of that volcano thingie? One that comes with a thing 2 way cable, and 2 that comes within the transparent plastic? Am I correct? Am I just supposed to connect those to regular PSU strips?

If you plugged the fan directly in to the PSU and it didn't work the fan is dead. Grab another 80mm fan and give it a shot.

If I am correct, why not plug all the 7 :Q Fans into this cable. Since those stock fans do not pass-through power molex adapters that is your only choice. Connecting each and evey fan into the PSU will not work in your case (TT already had this in mind, and made the special cable that goes directly to 1-12V molex cable )

If I were you, I'd get 7 Panaflo L1A 80MM fans and sleep easy at night, if you managed to get those stock 7 fans working, you wouldn't hear yourself think

you're right, he's pretty good. pwnage.

now, Xiety, you're going to have to get used to people that joke about this. see, we didn't know this computer was critical to you, and then when you blow up, it only sounds arrogant.

and yeah, your fans are probably dead, or molexes are dead (unlikely)

i've had a xaser III for a few months and its working fine with all 7 fans....i'll check the setup cause i'm not really sure i remember it all.....be patient though...this case has sweet cooling...full load temps are about 105 cpu and 85 mobo, drops below 95 and 75 when idle....
