This is the best time to buy your barbecue grill because it's winter time...lots of store are reducing their prices.

Target B&M has on clearance the Thermos Stainless Steel Gas Grill for $174.98.

The item no is 009070026...online price is still $299.99...linky.

Inventory is high in the LA AREA...However, each Target store set their clearance prices differently so be forewarned.

The grill is actually made by Char-broil and marketed under the brand Thermos for sale at Target.

Here's a review abt it....Text The good and bad...

Some amazon reviews...

I have been watching this baby when it was priced at $379.99 and now they are clearing them out. Woohoo! This baby is nice...I bought one yesterday and I'm putting it together right now.

I got a non-stainless grill before and this Thermos grill is is a lot better...some will say no but for the price...nothing will compete with it.

If you don't agree...LMK.

$180 is a decent price for a normal grill, let alone a stainless steel one. Looks good to me. Last time I was in hardware store this looked sexy But DANG they are so expensive normally.

At some stores, grills are more of a seasonal thing so they try to clear them out, usually before christmas. Or it could be that the brand is being discontinued because they didn't sell as many as they thought. Or target isn't carrying them anymore, could be a million reasons.

Not all stainless grills are made the same, hold a magnet to the stainless, if it is magnetized then it is lower grade metal. A magnet won't stick to better grade stainless. Drawbacks are that the cheap stuff isn't so stainless and they can still rust.

For $199.00 it's a deal-buy it, at regular price or $299 I wouldn't touch it. I bought my grill last labor day, I checked this one out, from what I recall it was a lower grade stainless.

If the budget is $299,(actually $269, no tank included) check out the four burner "BBQ Grillware" stainless model sold by Lowes only. High quality stainless, gets real hot for those great BBQ marks on your meat. Cleans up relatively easy, great burner ignition system.

Yep, that's what turned me on to the brand. CR only reviewed the cheaper non Stainless model, but I found some other favorable reviews on the BBQ Grillware model I bought, and the rest is history so they say

I have a Thermos grille very similar to that one that I bought about 18 months ago, and I'm very happy with it. I paid $147 after a coupon and on clearance.

I'm not really happy with any of the grills these companies make these days. Most of them claim to be stainless steel or good quality, but the hoods and overall construction tends to be cheap. I think I'm going to eventually make a grill by buying the parts and laying some brick in the backyard....who knows...maybe I'll make one that runs off natural gas and tie it into my house lines so I'll never have to worry about tanks.

This looks alot like my BBQ Grillware from Lowes. Wouldn't surprise me if it was made by the same company. Even the specs are similar. It's a PITA to put together but I like mine.

Actually, this is exactly identical to the Charbroil grill I bought at Lowes. It does not make much difference on the grade of stainless, IMHO.

Omm, I tried the charboil. IMO nothing beats a Weber and you truly do get what you pay for. Good Luck!

Not to me:

...It has only 3 burners so it's not the same.
