Like I said, big conundrum for ATP&N. His cultural/religious background may not have anything to do with the murder, but it makes all the difference to the cop haters. Just look at the squirming already.

And yet it hasn't made an iota of difference to the "cop haters", has it? Could you point out WHERE? Not a single person here has supported the coppers actions.

So this "ATP&N" group that you have made up in your deranged mind... It doesn't exist.

Sucks for you that you can't just use "see, they are just like me but on the opposite side, this totally justifies my idiotic ideas" on this matter, doesn't it?

Everyone wants the cop to be punished, yet if they do that they are "throwing him under the bus" because reasons.

An article about how and why there's been a muted response to this shooting:

http://www.cnn.com/2017/07/19/us/minneapolis-shooting-upended-outrage-trnd/index.html

What's interesting is that the response has been muted on both sides. Not only is BLM not taking an interest, but the pro cop groups aren't stepping up to defend the officers either. Black cop, white victim. Neither group takes an interest.

So a group called Black Lives Matter mostly concerned with the prejudice that blacks suffer isn't as concerned when some event doesn't fit their area of concern. And this equivalent to the sort disinterested because they didn't get to shoot a black guy. Truly breathtaking insight from the resident fair and balanced thinker.

excuse me but if you read initial stories BLM showed up in person to provide support at the vigils.

Perhaps the question to ask why white people won't acknowledge blacks are mistreated by the criminal justice system at a disproportionate rate.

So you disagree with the CNN piece that BLM's response to this was muted compared to incidents involving a black victim?

Look at these:

Harrity was driving the squad car, while Noor was in the passenger seat, according to the DPS. As they neared Ruszczyk's home, Harrity indicated that he was startled by a loud sound near the car, after which Ruszczyk immediately approached the driver's side, Minnesota DPS said.

Noor then fired his weapon, striking Ruszczyk through the driver's side window, which was open, according to the DPS.

So the cop in the passenger side shot the woman while she was at the driver side and the cop in the driver side did not shoot her even he was able to see a lot better than the guy in the passenger side? WTF? Something is not right.

The officers' body cameras were not turned on during the shooting, authorities said. The reason why police did not have their body cameras turned on is a "key question" for investigators,

Why have it and not use it? Or just use it when you feel like it? Any of us would be out on the street if we do not do what are required for our jobs.

Harrity was interviewed by investigators Tuesday, but Noor declined to be interviewed, the DPS said. The Minnesota DPS Bureau of Criminal Apprehension cannot compel Noor to testify, and Noor's attorney did not provide clarification on when, if ever, an interview will take place.

The cop in the driver side did an interview while the shooter did not.

Yes they did, which is a very nice gesture, but suffice to say they're probably not going to stage protests for events outside their primary area of interest.

I'm sure that you, fox, & friends are so very concerned that BLM aren't as uppity when it's not involving prejudice against blacks.

Also, this just in, climate scientists also not protesting over this lady getting shot. What is their Real agenda.

Days later and there remains no coherent rationale for this shooting. The driver heard "a loud noise" so the passenger shoots the woman through the driver's side window? Because of the loud noise? More information is needed to evaluate this but the lack of an explanation doesn't bode well.

He's a real cop, so he'll get much of the real cop use-of-force "investigation" coverup squad treatment. Problem is, they won't have their hearts in it on account of him being black, an immigrant, and a muslim.

So don't worry, he will face justice by virtue of the heavy bus wheels as they roll over him. It takes time to throw somebody powerful under the bus. In the meantime, just enjoy the S-show of all the racist authoritarians trying their best to decide whether they want to lynch the guy or give him a medal.

To be fair I think they only give the medals for shooting someone brown.

I don't see why the cops religion should be made an issue. Pretty shitty.

The bigger issue it's that policing standards and expectations need to be raised.

Incompetence and accidental killings should not be without severe consequence. Policing needs to be more finely focused on ensuring public safety from serious crimes and less about collecting fines, speeding tickets, harassing poor people, and flinging lead at every loud nose.

Police are important, and it's important to have quality policing.

Noor seriously has no care of anything to be shooting his gun that close to his partners ear.

Im really amazed his partner isn't deaf from the gunfire at such close range.

Careful someone wearing a tinfoil hat will take that and run with it.

Looks like "fear of ambush" is going to be the initial defense.

"The attorney for a Minneapolis police officer whose partner fatally shot an Australian woman has said it was reasonable for the officers to have believed that they might be targets of an ambush.

Officer Matthew Harrity told investigators he heard a loud sound before officer Mohamed Noor shot 40-year-old Justine Damond.

According to the Minnesota bureau of criminal apprehension (BCA), Harrity told investigators he and Noor were in a squad car on Saturday when the sound startled Harrity. Damond appeared at the driver’s side door and Noor shot her from the passenger seat.

Harrity’s attorney, Fred Bruno, told the Star Tribune “it’s certainly reasonable” to assume any officer would be concerned about an ambush. He referenced the recent death of a New York City officer killed in her squad car.

“It was only a few weeks ago when a female NYPD cop and mother of twins was executed in her car in a very similar scenario.”
