Cane's has the best fried chicken I've ever eaten and their sauce is bomb. I've tried a Zaxby's before and was not impressed. Pro tip for those not in the know. You can substitute the cole slaw for a texas toast, and at my local canes, it is cheaper to order a box + 2 extra pieces of chicken + 1 extra canes sauce than to order the caniac.

Best fried chicken? I don't know anyone who considers chicken tenders fried chicken. That's like saying chicken nuggets are fried chicken. Yes, it's fried but when I think of fried chicken, I think of the whole chicken pieces, not some breast tenderloins.

Slaw, toast, and cane sauce can all be interchanged/substituted for each other.

I don't like their slaw much so I always get extra cane sauce instead.

Arguments about what constitutes fried chicken aside, I encourage you to get out and try local fried chicken places. Cane's is good quality chicken with no flavor, and there's a ton of great fried chicken out there. Eat it up because I can't.

There's one across from the high school my nephews go to. Didn't know it was Raising Cane's (sign just makes Cane's big). Was curious what it actually had, but heard it was just another fast food chicken place so had not tried it yet. I haven't noticed it being particularly busy either.

Uh...WTF? Hardly sounds like a resounding recommendation, and definitely not sure where the "WRONG" is coming from. Are you disputing his recommendation to try local chicken places? That Cane's is good chicken? That it has "no flavor"?

West Coast? It originated in Louisiana. I thought it was a local chain until I started seeing them pop up here in Missouri.

I live in the west coast and have literally never seen one. I checked and there's only five of these in the west coast.
