Now I've poked fun at all of the desperate attempts Trump has made to drum up support via email communications plastering them here each time I receive one from Trump and the RNC. I just checked my post office informed delivery and lo and behold a mailed survey titled "state of the nation survey" is shown to be delivered today.
I have a good mind to scan the entire thing and post it here so you can see what this bozo is sending out if you're aren't receiving such correspondence from him. Why is the RNC sending this to registered Democrats? I have a good mind to forward it to the DNC so they can see it as well.
I'm going to perform my patriot duty and fill this survey out honestly with integrity. Do you think they'll finally remove me from their mailing list afterwards?
Urgent that you pursue a quick inquiry to dispel my suspicions. I had always noticed your Donkey symbol. I could doubt that you've flipped from one party to the other or made a regular practice of it. Some states, like Virginia, allow you voter registration without declaring your partisan affiliation. Others may not give you that choice.
The parties grab the voter registration lists for their respective members from county registrars of voters. That's how you begin to find their partisan advertisements in your mailbox.
And if you are getting literature, either promotional campaign flyers or surveys, from a party to which you do not belong, you should check with your Registrar of Voters to verify how you are registered. There has been a lot of hanky-panky with voter registrations, and I believe that predominately Republican operatives have managed to submit or forge registrations on behalf of some citizens to change their registered preference.
My elderly Moms was always a registered Democrat. During primary season leading up to the 2016 election, she was receiving all sorts of Repub literature, and I should've recognized this symptom right away, but I failed to do so. We get mail-in absentee ballots sent to us, so we can vote early if we choose, and so we don't need to go stand in line at polling booths. When our ballots arrived, Moms was given a Republican primary ballot, instead of the Democratic slate of candidates. We were too late in getting a new registration completed and sent, so she couldn't vote in the primary of her choice.
Somebody had submitted a registration form on Moms' behalf, changing her status from Dem to Repub. Another reason I keep hoping for a chance to strangle someone, or simply to get an opportunity to commit self-defense and "take someone out."
