The science museum was pretty cool. The lightning exhibit was awesome. The SCSI exhibit (complete with 6 foot high model of an ISA SCSI card) was amusing.
Wandered around fairly aimlessly for a day. Just to get a feel for the place.
Interesting observations:
Epic fail as some parts of downtown don't seem to have discovered electric lighting yet - the gas street lamps are pretty cool though. Don't see many of those these days.
Epic win, as someone seems to have invented boats with wheels.
This convention is pretty draining, and very long (7:30-6:30 each day), so I haven't done as much sightseeing as I'd planned. Still, when the choice came between Codzilla, and Fourier diffusion spectra and kurtosis - there was no contest, the diffusion won.
