as the article states, the first unknown space was found in 2017 using muon detectors if memory serves. They tend to pass straight thru the earth but sometimes, one gets snagged. I might be guessing here but more muons on average means more space. If incorrect, please remediate.

Now, a second entrance above the one already known has been discovered. This being about 30 ft long. If this find is legit (an almost certainty is), no mention of where it goes. But the 98 ft space might be an option. It sounds unlikely though. Not sure how they locate these things 3d

I tried to find my old thread "Things you didn't know and probably don't care about" but no luck. I even did a google "site:" search. I tend to be impatient and this was the first hit so I figured . . . well, let's skip that part. I can be pretty brain dead at times.

Later to-day/night I'm going to be a bit more rigorous and see if I can find that thread, but I'm getting the feeling that it might have been lost. Oh, just fyi, I tried using the forum's search feature 3 or 4 or 5 times and got nothing but I don't think anyone really expects much from that. So by the time I got to the site: search, I was getting lazy.

edit: I will make a conditional apology now pending what I discover later but I do have some more pressing matters to attend to later.

While reading the expensive bicycle thread and one of the arguments (as always in any thread), the mention of working in a bicycle store was brought up and it jogged my memory of Brutuskend. His jokes weren't always the best, but he was always helpful and had a "jolly" feeling about him...
