OK so here is the deal yo...
i had a PC that had dual GTX 760 in SLI with a 750watt power supply. Both video cards ran fine. I then bought a GTX 980ti and loving it so i no longer needed the 2 GTX 760's so i sold them. sold one locally and one on ebay. a month later the guy on ebay files a return dispute against me saying the item dont work, here is a copy n paste of his message:
"Hi, well the video card stop working and now it does not anu type of video. I used it 3 times mostly because I was built my PC and now with my pc complet anything happen. And last time before stop gave me artifact. So I think that I received it with a short life time remaining. So I have return it to get my money back."
to me it sounds liek he burnt the card out with a bad power supply or one that dosnt have the minimum requirements for the card and now is trying to pin it on me and get his money back and leave me with a burnt out card...reason for saying this is my other one i sold is still going with no issues.
I have requested that the guy send me his PC specs and a picture of the power supply label displaying its wattage. As i think he burnt the card out.
What do u guys think any way i can confirm this? ALSO lets say he has a 500 watt power supply wich is minimum requirements for the card...wouldn't u have power loss from the CPU and other pc components dropping the wattage to below minimum specs for the card? wouldn't u want a power supply that is a lil over powerd for the minimum specs to compensate for this?
