While this would be quite nice to have at home, and certainly about all you need for a CCIE x3 (R/S, Security, and Voice). It's almost sad to see someone have this type of setup, it's probably more equipment (and better) than a lot of average providers use out there.

Even on Ebay this is very pricey stuff and not just for the lab but the cost that goes with it, like public connectivity with a T1 (not much bandwidth, but pricey) and their own ASN, portable IP space.. though without a second provider you can't even really do BGP (so an ASN is useless).

there is a lot of money in those pictures. Even used/second hand stuff goes for 25% of list and I'd say if the gear is legit there's over 300K in it.

No kidding...that setup is better than what we have at work.

It'd be "better" if the wiring wasn't so ass-sloppy -- my lab is quite nice and clean. My fiancee bitches if it isn't.

spidey07, lab or no, cable management is a religion. Good practice in the lab helps get people trained so they don't think laziness is allowed in production.

That, and lab/engineering/test has this tendency to one day become production by somebody's fiat, and you don't get a chance to go back and fix it first.
