Thinking about downgrading my 8800GTS?

Im currently playing on 1366 x 768 with a 8800GTS 640mb and was thinking of downgrading. The games i play are mainly valve games and i dont play much like i thought i would. If i downgrade what should i get?

I guess Radeon 1950XT 256MB would be a good and cheap alternative.

Why downgrade? You already have the card. What about future games that WILL require the extra speed or DX10?

I know, down grade to this.

yeah but he will likely get near or more then what it retails for on ebay. Its a addiction for some ppl on ebay to pay more or same price as retail then simply going online and buying it.

Beats me as to why ppl do it.

Um, guys, there is a world outside gaming. I believe the OP wants to downgrade and use the difference to buy something something more useful in other aspects of computing. That's not too rare for a gamer when he overbuys, say, RAM, or spends too much on a monitor to downgrade and buy something more appropriate.

To the OP: What else do you do with your computer? What are your specs?
