I have one year left in undergraduate college. It's about that time I get a serious internship. Currently I work at a resturaunt (family owned) two days a week. I have been working there for 1.5 years. For the past year almost, the owners of the resturaunt decided to hold our credit card tips and pay them to us in the form of a check every week instead of giving them to us at the end of the night like every other resturaunt does. I would say about 70% of our tables are credit card sales. So, most of our tips are credit. I've dealt with this thus far, but lately it is starting to really piss me off. The owners print these checks for us whenever it's conveinient for them. We have no consistent pay schedule. Sometimes, they are printed on Tuesdays, sometimes thursdays, sometimes we go two weeks without checks, and sometimes we go three weeks.
