seems like a good deal considering the 20GB harddrive...although you would have to add some ram of course...caught between this and the x21 for sale at pcconnection.com for $999. what do you all think?

the title of the auction says 700 but the description says "Processor Type/Speed1 Mobile Pentium III 750MHz." just thought everyone should know

They are machines designed for different roles. The X is an ultrapotrable; it's small, almost half the weight of the I and doesn't come with any removable drives. If you have a desktop or laptop that you use and are looking for something to throw in a bag and haul around with you every day, I'd get the X. If you are looking for a machine with desktop capabilities, I'd get the I. If you need removable media, you'll have to spend at least a couple of hundred more bucks on the X to get a slice and CD drive, also the X is the older model with a 800x600 screen.
