FYI

We run thinkpads at my work....took a look at that the i-series.

2 of 3 eval units died...wouldn't boot at all after a few weeks of mostly docked use.


Make sure you get a good warranty is my advise.

We used thinkpads at work and have had major problems We are now going with Dell, which seem to be much more reliable!

Totally opposite experience at my company. Dell Latitudes have almost twice the failure rate of the Compaq and IBM notebooks we're using, not to mention the whole Dell exploding battery problem Not that IBMs never fail, they just fail less for us. Personally, I swear by Thinkpads but Dell HAS done better in my portfolio < g >
