Sorry I didn't specify well - the Ultrabay battery discharges FIRST. So a couple hours and its dead - then you can't swap the main battery while remaining powered.Originally posted by: DonVito

Yeah they don't have full customization. Word about the Ultrabay battery: it adds ~2 hours and it discharges first. So if you have that in and your main battery, the Ultrabay battery would discharge first and that kind of negates the benefit IMO.
9-cell should be ~$100 on EPP, worth it IMO!
I would think you'd always want it to work that way (that is, the main battery to discharge last). That's how my Dell works.
I guess I could buy a 9-cell battery separately and eBay the 6-cell one. We shall see . . .

That was an additional $199 on my recent T60 order. The way I look at it, it's a bargain!
1) USA based support.
2) Extends warranty from 1 year to 3 years.
3) adds accidental coverage.
$5.53 (x36 = $199) a day for that peace of mind is well worth it IMHO.

I dropped my screen down to 1280x800 and it was definitely more blurry, fuzzy. It was still perfectly readable and usable, but not as sharp and clear.Originally posted by: bit
fbrdphreak, thanks for the feedback. can you reduce the resolution and get good display quality (just in case someone feel that the resolution is too high)? I guess it might be crappy since it's not the native resolution.

I haven't checked out the audio at all on mine. I spent Xmas at my brother's house though and was successfully connected to their wireless network, at least to the extent of web browsing. My new Buffalo WHR-HP-G54 wireless router should arrive tomorrow. I have no complaints with my 14.1 SXGA+ screen, although I'm admittedly inexperienced. I love my T60 so far.Originally posted by: DonVito
I received my T60 WS, which I referred to above, yesterday. My machine was defective (I was experiencing problems with the audio and wireless, which may well have been related), and I had a very poor experience with Lenovo technical support...)
I believe 11n requires another antenna, so no easy add to my knowledge.Originally posted by: Muse
Any thoughts on wireless N? I think it's more or less in beta now, but when it's solid what will be the impact as regards to the Thinkpads? Will it be possible to get a wireless N swapout of the wireless g? Something you could order and do yourself? Or will it be necessary to put a card into the TP?
