Third graders with marijuana

And where are the reason for a 24 year old to be smoking/dealing. Age has nothing to do with it in my opinion. That might as well have been trading Pokemon cards.

Same reason 6 year olds can't drink. Same reason why 8 year olds can't drive cars. As a person gets older they become more responsible (except for a few years as a teen where they seem to go bloody stupid) and able to deal with influences in their life. That's why you have ages for things. I don't think it's a good idea to start selling joints in the candy isle and how-to videos so that your third grade brother can start smoking pot "responsibly".

drugs never interested me. We had BABES and DARE back in elementary and middle school, but i'm not too sure it phases many kids, if any.

Well I was trying to put emphasis on the word reason. There is never a reason for someone to do it recreationally.

No I don't, but someday I will be. And I hope for the sake of all our children that it is legalized by then. Then maybe there wouldn't be such a huff about it.

Exactly my point. Everyone views marijuana as such a big freaking deal, when really, it should be on the back burner to far more important issues. Alcoholism, abuse, etc. etc..

I?ve held off replying to this all day but i might as well now. even thou i believe pot should be legal in all its forms this is just one major fusk up that the world didn?t really need to know about. a lot of you have been satin that this is why we need DARE programs and all that. I was in one of them and i smoke weed now and then because i choose to. im 21 that?s my decision. we didn?t have dare till i was in 6th grade and ive never heard of it before that. so it wouldn?t have done these kids any good.

in 3rd grade i was 10 i had no idea what pot was or even what beer was. i guess those were simpler times then. What has happened here is that someone convinced these kids to sell it. an older sibling or someone they know from the nationhood. Kids this age are very easy to convince.

We all shouldn?t be surprised by this i have seen 10 year olds carrying guns in some not so nice places in this country. to me a gun is a lot worse then a lil weed.

There is really no difference there IMO and kids selling alcohol in school happens a lot more then you think. I was actually stupidest to have done this also when i was in 7th grade. People found out and it was handled internally. The news didn?t find out. A lot of things that happen in this country could go without being publicized.
