I have the thumbstick drift problem on my original controller about 6 months into ownership. Microsoft agreed to replace it at no cost but in the mean time I purchased a second controller. Second controller ended up having the drift problem after a few months and now my replacement, aka third controller, won't properly charge.
I can charge the battery in the broken controller and swap it but it won't work on PC games. I guess I'll bug Microsoft but I doubt I'll get any more replacements. Really don't wanna drop another $60.
