When our meal at Pita Jungle was finished, we jokingly asked our waitress if she could go to Amy's and buy us a slice of the chocolate mousse cake we had heard was so good, (and possibly not baked by Amy, according to several reports). To our surprise and delight, she agreed to walk over there and buy it for us. We gave her the money to do so. The slice of cake was $10.90.

My husband and I would like to thank you for the opportunity to have our side of the story be told as well.
We are saddened by this entire situation.
There are serveral inaccuracies in their story , beginning with with the comment of
Empty tabels, we were fully booked that night, and we have the video to prove that they were sitting in a crowded packed restaurant. Also there was no tense moode in the air unless it was coming from their table or perhaps they were nervouse being at our restaurant because they were not there with good intentions.
My husband personally made the three drinks and checked the drinks.We understand that there is the possiblity that perhaps once a fruit fly may have made his way into the martini, but after the third time of being sent back we felt that it was a set up.My husband made all three drinks at the same time with the same bottle of Vodka and vermouth, and no one eles had any issue.He was serving drinks to other customers from the same bottle, and no one else had a problem or found fies, we tried to handle the situation professionally and gracuiosly and asked them to leave . We find it extremely interesting how they were still so insistent on trying one of my cakes even after been asked to leave and finding flies in their drinks.If I went to a restaurant and found bugs in my drink, and then was asked to leave I would not go out of my way to try anything.And they still found something wrong with the cake.Even though they admitted it was delicious they complained about the fingerprint in it.I can only hope for their sake who ever did stick their finger in it didn't double dip . Because it certainly was not us!! Thank you.Amy &Samy

Actually I think it's more likely they were in the pour spouts of the bottle. If you don't cover the spouts overnight the fruit flies get in there after the sugar. Harder to notice until the drink is actually poured.Truthfully, the fruit flies were probably on the lemons, and they're not a big deal (they get everywhere). In this case I think they were making a big fuss out of it just to do it.

[edit] Amendment. PAB says, "I did NOT get a dr note giving me first class upgrades, I tried to though but the doc said it was a nogo."
"I do not milk the system. if it is there, I will evaluate it and use it to my advantage. Like a frequent flyer program or the free Delta Skyclub membership with my Amex Platinum card. Using the system and milking the system are two separate things."
