Oh gosh yes. That and when the vampires were coming up from behind them in the cellar at the end.
Were the vampires coming up to talk about their feelings?

Did you have fantasies about her too?
^pennywise did a number on me when i was a kid...
Conquer your fear. I bought it on DVD. The director, Dan Curtis, had another made for TV trilogy - Dead of Night. That one also had a scary-as-fuck third segment, and it came out on DVD a year or so ago. This thread reminded me to order it.Holy Crap, we must be about the same age. My Aunt took me to every horror movie at the drive in when I was a kid, and nothing scared me, but seeing this guy running around (and that noise he made) scared the living shit out of me for some reason. I had to leave the room, with my eyes closed. To this day, I still haven't seen the whole movie.

I remember being frightened of Medusa in a movie I saw (I can't remember the name atm), but I was terrified that any second, she'd turn up and turn me to stone.
lmao! That was long before the current trend of "monsters (vampires and werewolves) as social creatures with feelings negotiating the pressures and stigma of modern society".Were the vampires coming up to talk about their feelings?
Salem's Lot gave me nightmares for weeks and weeks.
