This would have ruined his life. Nobody wants to hire someone convicted of sexual abuse, even if he somehow didn't get jail time.

Seems to me like one of two things need to happen.

(1) Life in prison.

What you just said makes no sense. How does the sexual activity (or lack thereof) among AT members in any way affect the possibility of being accused of rape?

I would choose falsely accused but immediately retracted over rape. But I would choose rape over falsely convicted without a doubt.

Since those cases are basically down to little more than his word vs hers sticking to her false accusation has a high chance of getting a false conviction. Once convicted your life is over, there is no going back. You can move on if you've been raped but you will never stop being a rapist once convicted.

Given this isn't even the first time she tried this 18 months isn't enough.
