lol that guy was hella lucky.

I wonder who was at fault there. It appears impossible to tell for sure. On one side I want to say the dude on the bike was probably speeding through a red.. and on the other I see that the other driver was a woman, and that's relatively self explanatory. Oh the decisions.

I was wondering that myself, but couldn't figure it out.

Anyway, on another note, cheers on starting on a new foot!

lol that guy was hella lucky.

Looks like he picked up his leg just enough and the direct impact only knocked the bike out from under him. If you go frame by frame you can see his left knee is above the hood just as it hits, so he just got tossed a bit.

I don't hold grudges dude, ask Jules how many times we've had love/hate mood swings. Sometimes we're on the same PMS cycle, others we can't stop going for the jugular. Like I said, I'm just severely blunt and highly opinionated. Hell I'm certainly not immune to doing and/or saying stupid shit, I'm not delusional.

I have thick skin. It's all in good fun.

Damn, and I was waiting for Arkaign to finally post what all the grammatical errors in Saga's post were.

I guess the lack of any answer from Arkaign to that question is the answer to that question........

On the other hand, that rider's an organ donor and doesn't even realize it. Yet.

I was trying not to overheat an already aggravated situation Now that things have cooled down a bit, I'll give it a shot. Of course any number of my posts will have grammatical errors as well, but usually not the ones where I am calling out a nation as being poorly educated

"Realistically, American's are some of the poorest educated, most self-entitled drivers on the planet. It's not an issue of allowing it, it's an issue of how goddamn stupid it would be to tempt fate to such a degree everytime you decide to do it.

You'd be better off swimming naked with jellyfish. "

This should be :

I saw a guy on a sport bike passing cars today when he shouldn't have been. It's really not these donors' faults. Some people when they get behind the handlebars on a motorbike quite literally cannot help themselves, like an alcoholic who works at a bar. It's a synergy of the bike and the rider at the physiological level. It can be held back no more than drunkenness if hooked up to an IV of pure alcohol.

I agree. It's like burning rubber in the GTO. I just can't help myself. Without even realizing it I find myself reaching to push that traction control button off.

Sigh...it's an addiction...

See, this is a rough one. Part of the appeal of me riding my bike to work is that traffic in this city is downright terrible. People routinely drive 5-10 mph under the speed limit pacing each other just about everywhere, bottlenecks where 1-3 people are literally holding up EVERYONE behind them with huge gaps in front of them on the highway or main (4-6 lane) roads are incredibly and frustratingly frequent.

If I'm driving my truck stuck behind one of these stupid douchebags, I'm simply too big to do anything about it. If I'm in the TA it's too pretty to risk dings or rock chips from tailgating. If I'm in the 10 all I need is about 4 feet of clearance and I zip right by them and continue on my merry way at an acceptable speed, rather than being forced to ride behind a bunch of dickbag soccer moms with CHILD ON BOARD and Jesus Fish stickers in Odyssey's going 10 under.

And don't even get me started on far left lane highway driving. This is the only city I've EVER been in where NOBODY understands go faster or get the fuck out of the way of someone behind you in the far left lane. Usually they just get indignant and drive slower. Once again, a simple twist of the throttle and I safely pass on the right in 2-3 seconds.

I'm not going to drive aggressively and push someone or tailgate. Not only is it ridiculously dangerous to all parties involved, but the people who drive here are quite likely to simply slam on the brakes in rage and hope you rear end them so they can use the insurance fraud for a new car. I would venture to suggest that it's far safer to be on two wheels here during the summer months.

I've done that before but not to cause an accident. Rather to give the person behind me that feeling we all know so well at the very beginning of an accident when your adrenal glands immediately infuse you and then even if you missed the accident your heart rate is elevated. The split second they realize I'm braking hard and my lights are red and they have no chance to avoid the hit. But by the time they realize this the danger is already gone because I only dropped a few miles/hour in speed and there's no real chance of a crash. I'm sure that for them it's terrible. Generally works, though. I've not done it much or recently, though. I only do it if I'm not obviously the cause of what ails them.

I've always said that if I see a guy doing that and he is coming up beside me that I'll open my door.

Sweet. So now I know there's a chance of watching somebody murder an innocent on my commute. Just remember that people with brains exist, and they'll put yours all over the inside of your truck if they see you murder someone.

It's a good thing he didn't clip some smoker's arm off. What a fucking tool.

As someone said prior, all it would have taken was someone suddenly merging in crawl traffic...

Dumb-dumb-dumb dumb-dumb!

Really lame video.

Guy pointlessly accelerates hard then backs off way early... Goes really slow in turns...

Btw, I would never want to drive in that city. Those lanes are hellishly small and apparently everyone is allowed to pass eachother in the middle of the lanes with motorcycles/mopeds/etc? That's kinda fucked up. I'd never do that here. Combine our shitty roads+high speed+no space to correct shit that goes wrong+drivers who change lanes without looking 50% of the time.... yeah no...

Would you not care if you end up being charged with felony assault with deadly weapon? The only thing worse than guys like the one in that video is dumbfucks like you who would intentionally try to injure or kill someone simply for passing you as you're stuck in traffic.

i stuck my arm out of my truck one time to flick ash and stretch, got hit in the hand by a helmet. he got all pissed because the cig cherry exploded in his face, he didnt hit any cars but he did stop and walk up to my window. i got out and waited for him to do something stupid, but the cops got there first. the cop gave him a ticket for riding in between lanes and a nice long lecture about how stupid doing that is and told me to go. my hand didnt get broken or even bruised. i hate when bikers do this stupid shit, but i dont aim for them when they are. after riding for a couple decades in traffic on a daily basis, it really isnt worth the time you save doing it. all it takes is that one time where a car turns or swerves. traffic isnt that hard to deal with.
