This is Uber's New Logo

So, this is Uber's new logo:

What do you think? It looks more like a tech company logo than a taxi service.

Maybe it's just me, but I think that Uber should actually HAVE a fleet of self driving cars before trying to make themselves look like a big shot tech firm.

It resembles a destination marker, with movement toward a final stop. That's how I interpret it at least. I can see how it is not at all clear, but I sorta like it.

The new logo isn't bad, but I do like the old one better. The new app open animation is incredible though. Very very well done.

The first logo implies that your driver will go the wrong direction, then make a big loop to the south, to get to your destination which was only half a block away.

The second one is something about a square peg in a round hole.

don't like it one bit. the uber investor on shark tank couldn't go 3 min before plugging uber every chance. they are going to be dead once autonomous vehicles hit the road. predictions are everyone will have a vehicle that can drop them off anywhere and self drive home.
