Then there is this incident involving Asiana. Just trying to do a U-turn was rather crazy, but then going to full power was pure insanity. The power levels to get a 727 moving, which weighs about 1/4 as much as 747, generate 60 mile an hour winds behind the aircraft, even 60 feet away. Or if you want a visual aid download this
The Chinese arent much better Example 1, and oh yeah, a Chinese A340 took off from a taxiway just a few days ago, and just barely averted a disaster.
