Depends on what you consider a win? I know there were allot more dead Hezbollah than Israelis. Yes Israel didn?t complete objectives, but no doubt I would rather have to fight on the Israeli side. They had way less casualties.

I don't really want to get into this argument, but "just" fighting guerrillas is alot more difficult fighting an organized army, especially if you are trying to minimize civillian casulties.

I was there on a 1 week port call back in the early 90 or was it in 89. In the short time i was there, I swam in the Dead Sea, did the whole religious tour thingy with a few navy buddies, and fell in love with the country.

It was more with the people then with the scenery. Whenever we went out to check out the club and bar scene, we had a great time with the locals. They know how to enjoy whatever moments of peace they have to the fullest, and of course, Israeli women are HOT!!! I'd definitely like to make another trip out there someday.

Umm, have you studied Israel's history?

And you cannot win a guerrilla war unless you completely decimate the entire population and kill or capture every man of fighting age... something that has not been done since WWII.

That is Turkey's military.

Turkey has a very identical military to Israel.
Turkey has the advantage in number of soldiers.
Israel has the advantage in nuclear weapons.

Good news is both of those nations are military lovers and are exchanging weapons technology.
