FTFY. riding on the track is infinitely safer. motoGP racers routinely walk away from 100+mph crashes.

hell, i crashed at 40mph and walked away with a sore neck. had i done that on the street, i might have died (fallen off a canyon road, hit by a car, who knows). tracks provide controlled environments with risks minimized as much as possible and medical crews are on standby at every track event i've ever attended.
