Hello All,
Have a problem on a site for kids using AOL's Aim and Bulletin Boards along with web resources accessible through a vb client. Have been working on a problem that reared its head recently, we think from a change in AOL's handling of the signon.
Problem: We are no longer able to automatically sign the user in to the bulletion boards after they sign in to AIM without an IE popup that says "This page contains both secure and insecure items. Do you want to download the non-secure items?".
We control the browser, online environment and links the user can follow and have tried a number of things with the security settings in IE to try and get the browser to ignore the apparent problem. Trusted sites, unchecked security warnings we could find etc, no luck.
Any Ideas on how to prevent this popup from appearing?
Thanks,
David
Note: Client machines running a locked down version of Win95 and ie4 as the browser.
