This TV on newegg a good deal?

I'm in need of a TV. Saw this on newegg for Cyber monday deal. Currently googling all I can on Haier.

Originally $500. Went to $449. Now $300.

They are decent models. I'd put them above brands like Insignia, RCA, Westinghouse and the like. They are the official HDTV of the NBA and have a huge budget for advertising, so that gives them some credibility...at least they have money.

I think it's a hot deal with 4 HDMI + 1080p.

EDIT: It seems they are very big in the UK and are only now trying to break into the US market.

I think I'm going to buy it. Haven't found too many reviews, but from what I have seen people are saying they liked it.

Can this connect to the internet? Like if I were to connect a desktop to the TV.

Haier is a low end Walmart brand, think Chinese and cheap. They make $19 microwaves etc.

OTOH that says little about what some other factory may do with TVs.

I remember seeing some 32" lcd's in this brand at Costco last Xmas. I remember I almost bought a couple, because they had xlnt reviews and a cheap price.
I hesitated, (to research), and they sold out. I bought an LG for my boys instead, no regrets.
OP, this seems very hot, I'd check reviews for this model #. If it's got a decent pic awesome.

i'd put them right down there with insignia, westing house etc.

the best brand you mentioned is RCA. RCA is just a "trademark management" company these days just like westinghouse lets its name get used for consumer electronics. Its the same with GE's consumer electronics items. RCA Tvs are made by LG.

lol i didnt know rca tv's are made by LG, i dont know much about rca lcd but the RCA crt sucked ass (omg i hope i dont get in trouble for saying that ;/ ) This deal at 300 is def decent / warm good tv.
