I did the outpost seagate deal back in October. Just send in everything but be warned that I only got my rebate after 14 weeks.

Regarding the rebates, they pay pretty quickly. I'd say after 8 if you email RebatesHQ and ask them to escalate, you'll get them a little sooner.

They weren't prepared initially for the vast volume of rebates submitted, but have definitely sped up the process in the last 60 days.

I'd love to get a set of that pc3200 ram (the 2x 256 set), but with Fry's in state (unfortunately, still 2 hours from me!!), they charge tax. Add shipping, and it brings the pre-rebate price of that ram up to ~$83!! Shoot, I can get a 512mb stick for that locally, after rebate. :frown:

Definitely, I'd use Outpost and CompUSA more, if they offered free shipping over a certain dollar amount. Shoot, even BestBuy, tho we all know they're evil!! LOL

I would have to say that the stuff at Outpost isn't better than ValueRAM, but it should look like the picture at Newegg. The stuff in the red heat spreaders is usually the 2-3-2-5 stuff (which would be better than ValueRAM).

Well these prices are regular price since you will never see an outpost rebate! Never again will I buy from them. It was the first time ever that I didn't get my rebate check back. 5months ago when they had that Antec Sonata deal.

That's a totally useless comment. If you don't keep copies of your rebates and/or follow up on them when they don't show, whose fault is it?

Also, all of these rebates belong are manufacturers'.

Price raise on the Corsair at Outpost to $119.99 after rebate, so ZZF is a much better deal at $117 without rebate.

The PNY rebate form has been updated to be good through 3-10-05.
