Just an amazing video.....

Normally when you think of the homeless, you probably picture some drug or alcohol addict who is only taking money from passerby to support their next fix. Some of them even make more money than the average full-time employee working legally just because they’re good actors with bad clothes and not homeless at all.

Instead of assuming the worst, Josh put his money into finding the truth. He started the video asking the audience a question and explaining his idea.

“When you give homeless people money, do you ever wonder how they spent it? Today I’m going to give a homeless guy a hundred dollars, and I’m going to follow him and see how he spent it.”

Not necessarily. Personally I honestly do not give a flying shit about the whole "touched my heart" bullshit.

When I hand someone $100, I don't want the dumb retard to go to the convenience store and buy some overpriced shit food. I want them to find a way to try and dig themselves out of their hole. Instead it's more of an "I've accepted the place I'm at" from the looks of it.

Simple point being: Do you want to get people off the cold streets and into a warm home? Or do you want them to have food for a day? Sounds like people such as yourself only care about the latter. Congrats, they ate that day. But are they going to be employed and be an upstanding citizen like yourself some day? It's funny, because you are a contribution to the problem, and not to the solution. It does have over 7 million views already, which is probably avg for these types of videos. At a conservative $2k per million views, he's looking at $14k for that one video in one day, plus all the new subscribers I'm sure he will gain. Not bad for $200 plus the minimal production costs to produce it.

Now I don't know this guy and don't want to label him as greedy and manipulative, but is there any chance he offered some homeless man or actor a few hundred to perform a skit? Many people would put aside any moral issues they might have for that kind of money, especially if it's not hurting anyone.

At ~2 minutes, the guy tells how a local cop that patrols the area showed the first video to all the homeless people in the area, who then ganged up on the guy.
