Ok so i worked the gate at an expermental weapons test station. We do pull a random number each day buy we also pull very specific cars because thats what we're trained to do.
The TSA is basically the absolute worst of civilian employees and while its possible they target people its more likely they fucked up a standing order. They were told to pull anyone who looked arab and just made a huge but regular mistake.

That is how I feel as well but have nothing to prove it or anything.

The last like 3-4 times I've traveled out of the country I've been pulled aside for a special screening when departing from the country I have been in. This has been when I've been with my kids as well as when it's just been my wife and I.

Just about every time I've flown I also have gotten tagged for special screening. My current working hypothesis is that it must be the eyebrows! Kudos to you, my eyebrow brother! Myself, I'm already deep in Edward Teller territory. That it bothers children is just an unexpected bonus.

My old boss, unfortunately had the same name as someone on the do not fly list. It was a very common name William Burns. It gave him problems flying many times. Finally, it just stopped happening.
