Thoughts on MS acquiring LinkedIn

Kinda sorta makes sense but damn $26 billion.

But after the whatsapp 18 billion acquisition, it looks like whatever goes there.

I feel like Silicon Valley is fiddling while the rest of America burns. Imagine what Ford Motors could accomplish with $26 billion. Or spaceX. Instead, we get insane internet valuations.

Ford would probably spend the money on debt repayment. Tesla, on the other hand, would probably build something awesome with it.

Yeah, it's pretty much guaranteed MS ends up writing down most if not all of that $26 B.
