haha... i'm sorry, but I have to agree. a lot of people say the sonata is nice, but i personally don't like the look. if you have enough cash, go for a thermaltake tsunami, it looks nice and has great cooling.

edit: there is also a cases/cooling forum that this should've gone in FYI

get a clean, solid antec. my votes for the sonata, but if you need something a little more flamboyant, check out the lanboy2.

The second one is not too bad, But the first one's got way too much bling-bling goin' on there.

Don't pay attention to us, go with the appearance you like. With that said, yeah...get a decent PSU. Aspire cases have hit-n-miss PSUs, and something scares me about a PSU called "Warrior"...even with the fancy font.

I would highly recommend an Enermax.

Well, of the two I'd say the 2nd one is better. I prefer simple looks, thus I have the sonata.

I'm planning on getting an antec psu... gonna be about $125 or so if I get it from their site. newegg doesnt have the trublue antec psu's. Personally, I like modded cases, the super lanboy is nice, but I dont like white, I like black cases. Thanks for all your help.

He obviously doesn't want a plain jane case like the Antec Sonata...

Everytime someone asks a question about a case, everyone says Sonata, stfu

OP, look cases from better manufacturers, that's the key, such as Coolmaster, Antec, Thermaltake, Silverstone, etc.

Personally, I'd blow any extra money on a awesome PSU and buy the cheapest fvcking case I could find with decent fan mounts.

Kainz, Of the two cases in your first post, I'd go with the X-Navigator.

However, the X-Dreamer you just posted looks nice for the price and it's got the window you seem to be looking for. I'd say, go with the X-Dreamer and take the money you'll save and invest in a kick-a$$ power supply. If I had it to do over again, I'd go with anything from the OCZ Powerstream line
http://www.newegg.com/app/View...it=property&DEPA=1

Keep in mind that the Aspire case is going to be NOISY with those 80mm fans.

Good luck!

, nothing worse than a cheap case, except maybe a cheap power supply. This forum and OT have seen at least 3-4 threads on how crappy that Aspire case is in the past few months, and if you read the reviews on Newegg you'll see much of the same. With cases & PSUs you really do seem to get what you pay for.

I agree. I've had a cheap ass Enlight case for almost 4 years and it has been perfect for me. I don't plan to ever buy a case WITH a PS. I plan to get a decent inexpesive case, and a awesome PS on my next purchase.
Either way, get a cese that YOU like.

Antec SLK3700AMB - $70, with free shipping now.
Pretty decent case, with a few quirks, but overall, very well designed. If you plan to do case mods, you might want to look elsewhere - the fans use clips, not screws, so if you slice out the stamped fan grilles, you can't install chrome wire grilles.

Or there's Antec's P-160. They also have a windowless version. I've not used it, but it looks like a very good case too.

The SLK3700 comes with a 350W Antec PSU, which should cut it for a basic A64 system. If you load it with hard drives, you might want something more, in which case, the PSU becomes a mail-in rebate, courtesy of the FS/T forum.
