I moved to the Benq 32" BL3200PT 1440P 60Hz Monitor from the Benq 27" XL2702Z 1080P 144Hz Monitor using AMD R9 290X Graphics Card...
...Since changing Monitors I've noticed a couple things - First is that the 32" Picture is way better than 27" of course, however, in all my games (FPS) COD Ghosts/BF4 etc... I suck on the 32" and get my butt kicked, yet plug back in old 27" and hold my own pretty well.
Here's what happens, I see opponent, and I fire, see my bullets go, however I end up dead - Upon replays it doesn't even show my shots fired, plus, its almost like they are a few frames ahead of me as I see them in the replay rounding the corner and shooting before I even turn to face them (live game play I saw them and fired to no affect though).
Could there somehow really be that much different between 1440P 60Hz and 1080P 144Hz with First Person Shooters, or is the R9 290X just not enough to power 1440P, or what is everyone's thoughts?
For kicks I tried lower all graphic quality settings (in game) very low, made no difference really - and I'm not using v-sync.
