THQ must be hurting.
You haven't been paying much attention then I'm guessing. They are in major debt (100 mill iirc). Last I read they might have found a backer to help them out some but don't know what has/is coming of it.
They have 3 big titles they are pretty much banking their future on. South Park Stick of Truth, Company of Heroes 2, Metro Last Light. They delayed them all as well because they can't afford for them to not be up to snuff.
They are on life support with bankruptcy coming.
If 2 million people buy this bundle for $10 each, they cut 20% of their debt. Now, the average is $5.50 (I can't access at work), so they won't get nearly that.
That article is sensationalist. I'm also surprised at some of the reader comments.
"Oh no, big-budget games that require Steam DRM and Windows only? I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM HUMBLE BUNDLE EVER AGAIN"
Whatever. For every person that's really that die-hard about the games being indie and whatnot, a dozen new people will come lured by awesome deals.
You haven't been paying much attention then I'm guessing.
Well, still not sure I like HB going away from the whole indie/no-DRM/multi platform mantra they had before.
yesCan more than one bundle of these games be purchased ? If they allow that, I plan on purchasing about 6 bundles, and having a little contest here myself.
I love Company Of Heros. Stay in business THQ. I love your games. Ill donate to THQ only though, since they are having a rough time, it does seem like donating to them is also helping charity.
