I wonder if we can get a Mayne-like rule instituted in P&N, where all talk of smoking is confined to a single thread (this one?), and Slow is only allowed to post twice per day about smoking, and only in the designated thread? There needs to be some recourse for sending demonstrably fallacious, asinine arguments built on a pure foundation of bullshit to the P&N gimp tank.

My son is vaping. Is that the same thing as smoking? Is it a perfectly safe alternative? Would his persistent cough be a result of vaping or pot smoking?

The form I had to fill out last week when I wanted to buy a pack of cigarettes, suspiciously, was created by the Americans for Freedom and Smoking Plus Good Club.

Back in the 90s when I last bothered to look up the numbers, nine smokers died every year to keep each tobacco farmer in business. I was living in Kentucky in a county that prided itself on its tobacco farms. I was paying my taxes at the county court house and complained about the smoke. The clerk responded, "tobacco pays our bills." I pointed out that even in that county, the public health costs of tobacco dwarfed the income from tobacco farms. Icy glare ensued.

I don't get it. According to OP's article the cops know who the shooter is, and they are still at large. Shouldn't they be warning people about the shooter's identity and appearance?

I would argue that it is significantly safer--the propylene glycol that makes up the majority of the juice (either tobaccy or MJ-based substances) is rather ubiquitous in most FDA-approved, consumed products, anyway. IIRC< it's the one component that you see people complaining about, but it's really no big deal. You also have the benefit of being able to meter and adjust the actual nicotine/THC levels...for those that want to do that. Not that most would, but it's still an improvement.

But at any rate, let's discuss. Some 1300 people today will die from tobacco, some 110+ of those will be innocent victims of 2nd hand smoke. What legislation is being introduced to stop this killer that creates some ~15x as many dead bodies as guns? What politician is running on a strong anti-tobacco platform? I'm sure you can name many since the quest is to save lives, right?

STDs give you a cough? I will definitely check that out. Honestly he has lots of girls chasing him but his one true love is Mary Jane. He doesn't have time for other girls.
