1.5 years ago I got 2 Seagate 200MB HDs for $100 AR from TD, got both rebates (mine and to a friends address).

no problems here. A $100 rebate last year even came much much earlier than I expected.

As someone else suggested, how about Mwave, and I will add BHphotovideo.com ? These are two reputable businesses, that I would like seeing on the search engine, before TD.

no problems with TD. from people i've asked, none of them have ever had problems with TD. for the rest of you who have had problems...are they from recent transactions (within last year)? if so, then your complaints are valid. if not, then i think you should indicate when your 'BAD' experience occurred. some companies do change over time, and most of us would like to know how the company stands TODAY, not a couple years or longer ago.

How about less than a couple weeks ago? They recalled the shipment FFS. Or did something to it, I dunno what, all I know is on the UPS tracking they claimed I had refused delivery. I didn't heed the warnings, it really is a crapshoot when dealing with them. And for some inkling reason I think they mod themselves up on Resellerratings, I see people join for one day (same day as review) and post a short "A++++ GOODWTFBBQ" review, but all the multiple rating people rate them poorly and descriptively.

umm tigerdirect would bump themselves way up there if they just lower the shipping costs alone. The site is full of generic and refurbised/remanufactured stuff which for most people is ok with a decent warranty

i sent them emails before (like it did anything) that their shipping prices are so high that nobody would want to buy anything from them. Knowing it doesnt cost $14 to ship a memory card.

I have ordered from them With a half smile on my face. Like id look at my invoice and smile... until i get down to the shipping cost. poop.

newegg/mwave from now on. tiger direct doesnt get my money.

Today I was shocked to discover that Tiger Direct opened a B&M "Outlet" store near my parent's town (Orland Park, IL). I walked in, and saw a bunch of new and old stuff (looks like "pulled" or very old components).

They did have the Logitech MX700 Cordless Mouse+Keyboard combo for $59.99. I would have bought it right there if Christmas (and it's accompanying bills) weren't coming up.

Never ordered from them online, so I chose "View Results" in the poll.
