OR the cop is going easy on him. Celebrities often get preferential treatment with the law. It's wrong, but it happens. I wonder if Luncecum claimed it was medicinal use.

meh, anyone smoking and motivated enough to drive isnt stoned enough to drive poorly. ive been in the car with high drivers many times, they drive fine.

And each person reacts to alcohol differently. Yet the law sets a level and if you breath above that, you are DUI.

Uh, DUI isn't "drunk driving", it's driving under the influence. It can influence from any source, alcohol, hard drugs, pot, medicine, whatever.

Without providing details, but I was pulled over once and was certainly UI. I was let go. does that mean I wasn't hammered?

I saw a kid get pulled over (rolling through a stop sign) in front of my house the other day and given a field sobriety test which he passed without problem. The cop asked him if he was under the influence of anything else and he told him he had been smoking herb. My friends and I were all dumbfounded. The cop arrested him and towed his car. God what a dumbass.

I've seen people who thought they passed a test and they definitely did not. I also don't tell people whether they've passed or failed until I've made the determination whether or not to make an arrest. I have a hard time believing he'd make an arrest based solely upon an admission - but I wasn't there..so who knows.
