BTW, i have a friend who is a state trooper in Wisconsin who had to do duty in Madison today. I hope he's not one of the security who gets hurt by the mob or is one of the ones who may have let this happen by stepping aside. The demonstration in that video seemed pretty civil to me, all things considered. It was like a big angry drum circle. This reflexive instinct to "call in the troops" is damaging to democracy. The last thing we need is more paramilitary police action. Let protests be, and see what happens.
