Time to Finally Turn on the Heat?

Just got home. It's 62F inside the house and 42F outside. I was hoping to not have to turn the heat on til November.

Err dammit I voted for the wrong one, I meant to vote no. It was 30F here last night, that's cold enough for the heat to come on.

It's suppose to get down to 30° F tonight, same tomorrow night. I'm on a second floor apartment so I haven't had to turn it on yet but I may tonight. It says 64-65° F in here right now.

Man, you have no idea how lucky you are. I've only just been able to start leaving the window open at night to help cool this place down, as the nighttime lows here in Tucson didn't start dipping below 70 until the past week or so. I'd rather freeze in a 50 degree house and throw some sweatpants on than swelter in an 85 degree house and have to spend 200 bucks a month to cool it properly.

I'm in an apartment building, people above and below me, so I leech heat if possible. Unfortunately it's been about that cold here as well, so I turned only one room's heat breaker back on and set it to like 65F. It'll keep us warm enough.

We covered and shut off our AC unit recently. When you have to scrape ice off the car most mornings, chances are you wont need the AC anymore.

The heat has been turned on a few times so far but not that often. When it hits around +15C in the house I usually turn on the heat for a bit.

My apt building blasts the heat (free). I have the windows open and turned off our steam feed last night, the first night they turned it on this season (its on for good now).

Just had some ice cream while wearing sweats and fleece and now starting to feel cold. I think I'll tough it out but I have a feeling waking-up tomorrow morning it's going to be chilly.
