I've had one of these for about 2 months. Comes with 1 year free Skytel service. It's a Ironman Triathlon + Pager in one.

I have had one of these for two years, I bought a mutli pack of batteries (12.00) at sams club when I first got the watch and still have plenty of batteries left. Do you have the watch or is this hearsay?

You can set the pager to turn off during the night and come back on in the AM and it saves the battery.

I just got a new one about two weeks ago. The free year service for my first one expired and I tried to live without it. I missed it too much. $30 is a reasonable price if all it did was tell time. The fact that your wife can send you an email telling you to stop and pick up a gallon of milk on the way home adds so much . Seriously, if you pack a cell phone this is probably unnecessary. I don?t ever take my cell phone out of my car. I travel a lot. I love the flextime feature and the fact that my family can get a hold of me when I?m on the road. The headlines and other fluff that they send is cool when you are bored.

Edit: and they come with like a six pack of batteries. Otherwise they are just cheap hearing aid batteries.

blue is back in stock....anyone know if these are smaller or bigger then there older classic models? Also someone said skytel likes to spam your pager with crap.

The Watch is still the same size as the ones before it. Identical!!!
The only spam I've received are the headlines I subscribe to.
Buy it...great deal!!! Even get voice mail box with a toll free number.
That alone is worth the $30.00.

I have one of these and LOVE it, I got it the last time this deal was posted @ $40 and I have yet to replace the batteries and I get buttloads of pages on it (10 a day most days give or take). The watch itself is just a basic cheapie plastic watch but the pager is handy as all get out. Especially the fact you can tie an email address to the watch, that's priceless.

My first watch was un-enableable so they sent me a second, so I have like 10 spare batteries

The only "spam" is the once a day yahoo articles head lines, someday I'll get motivated and login to the skytel site and see if it can be disabled.

Dont forget to go personalize your picksomething@SkyTel.com email address. It doesnt have to stay the big 866 number they give you. I was shocked that I got the first one I requested. Without adding some 049 or something to the end.

Now if they could only make a watch that looks half as good as the one im already wearing and spent too much mony on in the first place (ok, it was a gift, but i still saw the price tag :Q )

One thing I will say, I had a Timex Ironman watch (just a normal one, no pager stuff) a while back, and that little ah heck lasted me from about age 12 to age 20. It still works too, I just haven't bothered to replace the battery.

Ahhhhh, two chicks at once. Now I see. This really is a "Hot Deal" isn't it?! Too bad the link doesn't work for me at work. I'll have to wait until later at home to get in on this. Do they ship the chicks with the watches, or do you have to find your own or do they just come to you once you have the watches? Just wondering.
